Brianna's exceptionally pale skin belies the only hint of her Drow heritage; to most, she simply appears as a very fair half-elf or a human (when her ears are hidden behind her hair.)

General Physical Condition
Brianna is slight of frame and exceptionally petite, barely exceeding one hundred pounds. She is, clearly, not destined to be a great fighter or duelist, instead relying on her wit to keep her from harm's way. She is, however, in tip-top shape, believing that she should regularly perform a number of calming exercises to focus her mind and body, much in the way of many of the monastic traditions of Kermoria.

Though it is rarely if ever seen, Brianna has a small tattoo of a ship's anchor on the top of her right thigh, and the inscription 'Anchors Aweigh' below it in a calligraphic Elven script.

Brianna was born on the Isle of Aesry Surlaenis'a in 199, in an unremarkable home with parents, siblings, and very little else. The daughter of an always down-on-his-luck fisherman, Brianna knew her only way out of poverty was to marry up.
Described from an early age as 'stunning' and 'gorgeous', she used her looks and her wit to float within social circles well above her status, eventually meeting, and marrying, a human ship captain named Delvin Lynch in 217.
A few months after their wedding, their ship, the Dowager Duchess, was boarded by Red Sash Pirates. During the ensuing melee, Delvin was slain and his body fell into the Reshal Sea, where it could not be recovered. The crew managed to fight the pirates off, but it left the young bride now a widow, and with full ownership of the Duchess.
Since then, Brianna has maintained herself as the captain of the ship, travelling from port to port hauling goods and passengers for a fee, as well as working odd jobs for various merchants to pay bills. She remains poor, in coin, but her ship is in good repair and the taxes are paid.
