Are you sure that's Megan Fox? Like, really, really sure? The actor's new fire engine red bobre is such a major change that I honestly didn't even recognize her at first!

The jaw-dropping transformation comes courtesy stylist Dimitris Giannetos, who regularly works with Fox and a slate of stars like Joey King, Ciara and Gigi Hadid. Fox took her summery copper color up several notches for the fall, opting for a true scarlet red that practically vibrates right off your phone screen, it's that bright. Fox also said goodbye to a ton of length, with Giannetos chopping her hair into a collarbone-length bob and styling it in soft bends to let the color really shine. According to Giannetos, he used Lime Crime's Unicorn Hair Full Coverage semi-permanent hair color in the crimson red hue Valentine for Fox's traffic-stopping shade, mixed with "flaming red shades" for even more vibrancy.

This is a big departure for Fox, who's best known for her long, dark hair — though she has been experimenting with red tones for much of the past year. In October 2022, the actor stepped out in a bright auburn wig to test the redhead waters, then made the change for real in March 2023 at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, debuting the warm copper shade we've come to know and love. But now that fall is upon us, it's no surprise that Fox would want to mix things up and keep channeling the changing autumn leaves with her hair color. She's definitely never been this bold before, but it's really working for her. Giannetos is calling the new shade "red velvet," and after seeing these on-fire photos, I'm absolutely craving a slice for myself.
