It is tough enough to record new species for XC, let alone a new family! Johannes Fischer recorded 6 new species, 2 new genera and a new family on Codfish Island (New Zealand). The recordings of South Georgia and Common Diving Petrels he shared are the first from the Pelecanoididae. Johannes conducts a study on South Georgia Diving Petrel, and asks anyone with recordings to share them on XC, or to get in touch with him.
