The 'Kokonoe/Kokuho' Japanese White National Treasure showcases the classic characteristics of the Pinus parviflora species with a few unique distinctions. It boasts an impressive stature, often growing to heights of 50 to 80 feet (15 to 24 meters) with a spread of 20 to 40 feet (6 to 12 meters). The tree features a majestic, upright form with a broad, pyramidal crown.
