PRELUDE

The heaven was chaotic and the angels are fighting over something that must be done later on.

"Let me handle the mission." I said emphatically.

This has been going on for awhile and my head is going somewhere. I want peace. Silence filled the room when they heard what I said.

"Let me handle the mission. Let me handle that child."

Raphael stood up in all his glory, probably planning to stop me from what I'm trying to say.

"This mission is not something you want to do, this mission is a commitment, Zadkiel." Gabriel said.

"No one wants this so why not let me?"

It's been a decade since the last time I visited Earth. I was busy in Heaven. For a decade, my mission was to guard the Garden of Eden. Even though the Cherubim are already there. Still, God gave me that mission.

For the past 10 years of hearing nothing about humans, I finally can see how chaotic the world is. Humans are toxic. Their decisions hurt them that makes it confusing.

I kneel right in front of Uriel, Unintentionally.

Forgive me Lord for thinking like this. You created us perfectly yet most of all are unaware of it...

"Kneel in front of our Father, Zadkiel. But one thing is for sure, he will punish you for your thoughts." Did I mention that I'm with Uriel? The guts of this angel... It's just a coincidence that he's in front of me.

"I will."

I'm standing at the top of this building with Uriel. Nakatingin kami sa ibaba. I'm with my complete armor, So is he. This is the appropriate attire for this kind of mission.

Ah! It's been years! I missed this.

My job is to protect humans at all cost, to defend good against all sort of evil.

I am the Archangel of Mercy, Forgiveness, and Benevolence. Humans sometimes call me by my name, and ask for forgiveness. They call me whenever they had to forgive. We have different missions in Heaven, and on Earth. And If needed, we Angels disguise in order to accomplish our missions perfectly.

I left Uriel there and I go back to heaven.

"What's the plan, Raphael?" Because Raphael is a Prophet, he sometimes decides the plans for it to happen according to the "future".

"Are you sure? This might ruin your peace, Zadkiel. This won't be quick, I told you, this would go on for a very long time. Almost eternal."

The day that I accepted the mission, the moment that I accepted my fate. This mission will be a life changer, I'm aware of that. This is one of the top mission of Archangels that I need to accomplish in order to protect humanity.

"Calamity." A word came out of Gabriel's mouth.

"Affirmative."
