'The Nanny' cast had a mini reunion for a birthday bash

The cast of The Nanny had style, had flair and were there for a mini reunion of the popular CBS sitcom at cast member Renee Taylor’s 83rd birthday party.

Fran Drescher and Charles Shaughnessy, who played the titular Nanny Fran Fine and her employer/husband Maxwell Sheffield, reunited for some social media snaps with Taylor, who played Fran's outspoken mother. The pictures were taken March 19 at Drescher's home, which looked like a big upgrade from the Nanny's home in Queens.

"An evening with the mother in law! Happy Birthday Renee!!" the first photo was captioned.

Twoother photos showed the former cast members lounging at Drescher's home, as well as Drescher and Schaughnessy embracing like the onscreen husband and wife they used to play.

The cast had previously reunited onscreen on the set of Drescher’s TV Land Series, Happily Divorced. Taylor had a recurring role, while Shaughnessy guest-starred.

But they will always be known for The Nanny, which ran on CBS from 1993-1999 and garnered Drescher several Golden Globe and Emmy nominations.
