Ford B-Max And Fiesta Scoop Diesel Awards

Published Date: 30th May 2013

Ford scooped two awards recently from Diesel Car Magazine. The all new 2013 Ford B-Max was given the accolade of best MPV whilst Britain’s favourite car, the Ford Fiesta was awarded with the ‘Best Small Car’ title.

New Ford B-MaxThe 2013 new Ford B-Max is Ford’s well-equipped, spacious compact MPV which caused something of a stir with it’s rear sliding doors and no central pillar! The vehicle should be a godsend for those who have difficulty seating rear passengers, for example getting a small child in and out of a child-seat. Engine-wise a new 1.0 litre ecoboost engine stands out and there is a frugal 1.6 TDCi option, offering great fuel economy.

Ford Fiesta EcoboostThe New 2013 Ford Fiesta has received fantastic reviews and Ford seem to have built on the foundations of what was already a fantastic small car. The introduction of the new Ford Fiesta 1.0 litre ecoboost model offering low emissions and excellent fuel economy is expected to be a favourite. Ford’s Fiesta continues to be the UK’s best selling new car, easily outselling it’s nearest rival so far in 2013 (incidentally another Ford, the Focus). Rival manufacturers are going to have to up their game to take away the mantel of Britain’s most popular car in the UK.
