Great service, delighted with purchase

Ordered a half standard fig tree for my daughter for christmas. It arrived in a timely manner and in tip top condition. Received good communication throughout the process. Daughter delighted with gift. (Sent direct to her as it was so big.

Huge variety of plants

I was overwhelmed by the variety of plants in their stock. Had fun choosing the plants with my sister. I hope to add my collection yearly.

Poor Quality Tree and Zero Customer Service

I ordered two trees in late October planning to get them in the ground well before winter set in. They arrived 3 weeks later, I was happy with one of them but the other arrived in a very poor condition. I had paid over £100 for an 80cm tree and was extremely disappointed to see that it had virtually no roots. It appeared to have been recently dumped in a pot, all of it’s major roots were severed and there was no earth attached to the very few roots there were. Added to this, the pot it was in - apart from a shallow layer of soil and compost at the top - was entirely filled with an almost solid lump of clay.

Straight away I emailed 'customer service' with photographs to share my concern about the condition of the tree. I did not receive a reply. I sent the same emails three times more, I also made several attempts to call but could not get through. Finally, on the 8th December (over 6 weeks after ordering) I got through to someone on the phone and by now it was way too late to think about planting a replacement tree so I asked for a refund. The person asked me to send the photographs again, which I did. Then radio silence again despite sending two more emails.

I NEVER make complaints like this publicly but this company has ZERO customer service and has completely ignored my attempts to resolve this in the normal way.

I'm very upset about not having been able to plant a decent tree in the ground before winter, as was my plan, and about all the time and money I have wasted on this and have no qualms about giving this company the terrible review they deserve.

Worth all the money

Good quality hanging planters, it’s been three months post purchase that the pots are working well, they are stable and the plants in them are great too. The colors are vibrant and they are sturdy enough to carry the weight of the soil and the plants. I am purchasing my second set of planters again from this site.

False advertising

Update following review: it is a question of legality not reasonableness.
You confirmed to us in your chat box that the tree we were ordering was the one you showed us a photo of in your chat box. The fault lies with you.
You owe us £15.

We ordered a particular size tree in good faith following a chat box conversation with your company. A smaller tree was delivered. They then asked for more money for the tree they had originally said we were buying. Clearly false advertising.
They failed to get in touch when they said they would. They eventually refunded us the cost of the tree but not the delivery costs. Legally, we should not have to pay for delivery when we were not at fault. We have tried to contact multiple times to resolve this, the last time we were told over the phone to email and we have not had a response to our email.

However, you ordered a standard tree, which is different in terms of price and maturity. We delivered the plant right to your door in the far north of the country, so it is not unreasonable that a minimal delivery cost should be incurred in line with our cancellation and returns policy.

Very poor

I bought item. Received message. And then waited and waited and waited . No further correspondence. They had my money and nothing had been delivered. Very poor service.

GardenPlantsOnline seem to be selling stuff they haven't got in their possession. This is not acceptable

Good overall experience

Very pleased. Ordered 5 Ligustrum Japonicum. 13 days between order and delivery which in my view is good given Covid and size of trees. Delivery on a Sunday!! Driver was amazing and very helpful in helping secure the plants behind a side gate. Specimens were a good size and similar to photographs on the website. Only cause for concern is the trees were very dry with leaf wilt but it did make moving heavy 110-130 pots across a garden easier as not weighted with water. I have reported my concerns on the customer portal regarding dryness and the impact on the trees. Received a reassuring reply on the same day.

I similar to others have read some of the more negative reviews on trustpilot. No doubt always room for improvement, but on this occasion they ticked the boxes - especially with a Sunday delivery and a driver that really understood customer need and satisfaction. Well done!

Delivery and sales support disappointing

I ordered planters and gravel 10th October and they were delivered after a few days. Unfortunately on inspection one of the planters was damaged and a bag of gravel torn spilling over into my garage. Following the returns procedure I requested a refund and collection of planters. I realise times are difficult but communication has been disappointing without updates and a month after requesting a refund I am still waiting for the planters to be collected.

Awful

I purchased a heavy duty electric strimmer. Almost £90. Paid £15 extra for delivery. They sent a different model. Different size. Not heavy duty.

I used the online complaints option. I have sent many emails. I have phoned with my Irish mobile phone. They refuse to respond. They refuse to engage.

I want them to take back the item they delivered to Holyhead (Bosch EasyGrassCut 26). Its purchase cost is less than £30, apparently.

I want the item I ordered i.e. Bosch ART 35 HD

if you like to continue communication publicly I'm sure we explained already by email and over the phone, the model you ordered discontinued and Bosh do not manufacture them anymore. We delivered the next model Bosh delivered to us as the closest match to the model they stop producing. The difference is only slightly twisted end of the product, all other parameters are the same. Please read product manual to compare.
Also, we are not refusing to communicate with you, the opposite, we replied number of times advising you. Bosh Manufacturer consider new product line as the same model to the one discontinued so they don't accept return from us. If you disagree you can contact Bosh directly for advise.
