Let's get one thing straight: Kate Bosworth is supernaturally pretty. Almost unfairly so. For example, her eyes are actually two different colors, but both of them are prettier than what 99% of the population was born with. And her hair is always that perfect, undone, wavy texture that takes stylists (and their blowdryers) great pains to accomplish backstage at Fashion Week. So when we asked Kate about all of her beauty secrets, we were expecting the usual, "I was born with it" routine adopted by most models and A-listers. Thankfully, that was not the case! In fact, Kate knows more than a thing or two about beauty, and is the perfect example that a diligent skin care regimen at an early age pays off in the long run. Here, her favorite products and exactly how she uses them.

Skin Care:

"Every morning, I wash my face with SK-II Cleanser. The rest of my routine depends entirely on the climate, how much I've been traveling, and what my skin feels like. For instance, if I'm feeling dry, I like to use the SK-II LXP Serum followed by the LXP Cream. Now that it's summer and I might be more oily, I prefer the Aurabright Essence for brightening followed by Stem Power Moisturizer. After that, I apply an SPF 30 (or higher) every single day. I also love using coconut or almond oil for my body—it's inexpensive and super effective. As for perfume, I'm a loyal fan of Byredo fragrances. They're complex, subtle, and gorgeous! My favorite is Gypsy Water.

Once a week or each time before a special event, I'll do an SK-II Facial Treatment Mask. They're incredible—the best quick fix for beautifying skin, especially if you're tired! I normally leave it on for 20 minutes, and I try to refrigerate them because the cold reduces inflammation. After that, I'll put Facial Treatment Essence on my face, neck, and décolletage with my hands. If an at-home mask won't cut it, I'll go and see Faith Tatro at Touch of Faith Aesthetics in Los Angeles. I've been seeing her now for almost 10 years! She's a medical skin aesthetician and has a ton of great knowledge. I also see Amy Ray at the same place—she does my brows, but she's also a certified nutritionist. She recommended I take a few supplements, so I get my daily dose of Evening Primrose Oil, which is amazing for clarifying skin and balancing hormones, and a complete Omega gel, which is packed with good oils to lubricate the brain and also benefits the skin, nails, and hair.

Before bed, I cleanse again, but use a warm washcloth to eoliate gently. I then reapply my serum and moisturizer and follow up with SK-II Signature Eye Cream. It's my last layer at night—I pat it around the eye area. I like to also drink an herbal tea before bed (Vanilla Rooibus is my favorite). And finally, I take a combo of Calcium and Magnesium capsules to calm the body and get a restful sleep."

Makeup:

"I normally wear makeup unless I'm going to work or a meeting, but I always keep it quite light because I like seeing natural features on my face. Normally, daytime makeup takes no more than 15 minutes. I mix YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation with a little bit of moisturizer to make the formula more sheer. I prefer to apply it—and the rest of my makeup—with my hands. There's something about applying it with your own skin that allows for the product to look more natural on a face! I like seeing freckles on a nose, or a beauty mark above a lip. As for the cheeks, I prefer stains and tints in pink, berry, and peach tones. The NARS Multiples, YSL Créme Blushes, and By Terry stains are great because they're easy to use and offer a wide range of shades. On the lips, I like Chanel Coco Shine in Rebellious, which is one of my favorite red tints. I also really love the Tarte Lip Stains—I'll use them to apply a sheer stain on the cheeks. The Fresh Lip Balms are also really moisturizing and come in pretty colors. I keep my brows natural and full, thanks to a little help from Amy Ray. She keeps everything looking clean, but natural. That's probably because my mom over-plucked her own brows when she was young and always warned me against doing the same. I heard they don't grow back sometimes if you overdo it! There is a brow pen I love by Suqqu that accentuates my color. It has a super-fine, feather-like brush that works subtly with the natural hairs.

For nighttime, I give a little bit more effort. I hardly ever wear mascara during the daytime, but I love my Chanel Volumizing Mascara for going out, and maybe an invisible black liner. I also love Chanel's Illusion d'Ombre Shadows, which come in great earthy colors with just the right amount of shimmer—I have them in gold, copper, and charcoal. Depending on my outfit or mood, I might even leave the eye nude and do a bright lip, which is my favorite summer look. I have been working with artist Pati Dubroff for over 10 years, and she's also a great friend. I normally will send her a photo of my outfit and she'll brainstorm different ideas, but she always embraces an individual's natural beauty and finds a way to make it interesting."

Hair:

"I generally shampoo every other day, but I'm a big fan of Pureology Strengthening hair care! If I've washed my hair, I let it air dry, and then brush it with a Mason Pearson quite flat against my head and tuck it behind my ears. Once it's dry, I untuck the hair from behind my ears which creates a natural wave. I also like the Aveda Sun Care Spray in the summer! It's gentle on the hair and leaves it super soft. I'm naturally blonde, so I'm sensitive to heavy products."

"If there's an event, I really love working with stylist Peter Gray. We recently traveled together to Singapore for SK-II and we had a hilarious time. He's wildly talented with a wicked sense of humor, but more importantly, he understands that hair, makeup, and wardrobe all work together to create a look! Too much of everything gets overwhelming and hardly ever works. It's all about the power of restraint and making specific choices."

Fitness:

"I like to ercise five times a week for 30-45 minutes a day, depending on how much time I have. Normally, I work out in the mornings to jump-star my day. Even if it's only for 20 minutes, I feel much better both mentally and physically if I've done something. I mix up a full body routine with cardio, jump rope, light weights, and my own body resistance. At the moment, I'm loving Alexander Wang for Beats earbuds and my iPhone. Since I do a lot of running, a good shoe is important! I'm a Nike fan."
