Specs:
Intel Pentium4 3.4Ghz system: The "Intel D865PERL".
(*= components re-used from prior systems.)
Housing/Case: PowMax A90-HL ATX mid-tower side “X” window case.(black with silver trim)
Power Supply: Logisys PS500AC 500watt blueLED/Acrylic clear cover modded power supply.
Processor: Intel Pentium4 3.4Ghz "Prescott" Socket478 CPU w/ 1MB L2 cache, Hyper-Threading Technology.
Motherboard: Intel D865PERLL Desktop board, D865PE "Northbridge" chipset. 800Mhz Front-Side Bus.
Memory: 4GB 400Mhz DDR SDRAM (4x1GB modules fitted with blue aluminum heat spreaders, and four Logisys Blue LED RAM mod strips).
Harddrive(s): One Seagate 160GB, ATA/100, 7200rpm, 8MB cache(internal), Two Maxtor 160GB, ATA/100, 7200rpm, 8MB cache (one mounted
internally, the other in a AMS DS-3 "Venus" USB 2.0 external harddrive enclosure.), Two Maxtor 250GB, ATA/100, 7200rpm, 8MB cache
(internally mounted).
*Removable Media Harddrive: Syquest Syjet 1.5GB SCSI-2 Fast, 3.5", internal removable media harddrive (Bought it new in 1997. Wrote a
Tech. review about it in the May 97’ issue of PC World magazine for the now defunct Syquest)(carried over from the late Tyan Tomcat3 system).
Floppy Disk Drive: SONY 3.5" 1.4MB floppy disk drive (Black face plate).
DVD-RW/CD-RW ROM Drive: One Sony DRU-820A DVD-RW/CD-RW dual-layer combo CD-ROM drive (Black face plate).
Graphics/Display Adapter: Mad Dog brand "Conquerer", nVIDIA GeForce FX5200 GPU chipset, x2/x4/x8 AGP, 128MB DDR VRAM, custom
fitted with a Vantec Iceberq 4 LED lit copper GPU heatsink/fan assembly, and VRAM heatsinks fastened to the card's four VRAM chips.
Monitor: (custom painted black) Dell Ultrascan P1110 20" CRT monitor.
Controller Cards: *DTC 3130B PCI SCSI-2 Fast controller card(10 years Old! But still works perfect, re-used from the late Tyan Tomcat3 system),
Belkin/Silicon Image SiI 0680 Ultra-133 Medley ATA/Raid PCI controller card.
*Sound/Audio Hardware: Diamond S90 Sonic Impact Aureal chipset PCI soundcard(re-used from the late Tyan Tomcat3 system).
*Speakers: Labtec LCS-1000 "Under Monitor" stereo speaker/subwoofer module(re-used from the late Tyan Tomcat3 system, now custom painted
black to match new system's color scheme).
Printer: HP "All-In-One" PSC-1315, USB color printer, scanner, copier.
Internet Connection: DSL 1.2Mbps on a 2Wire brand DSL modem.
Other Gadgets: Labtec 6.0 webcam, blue LED "Firefly" molex connector lights, custom made MOSFET mini heatsinks(x8),
three custom wired LEDs one white, two blue, back illuminating a *custom 3.5" louvered grill vent made from scratch fitted to a empty
5.25" to 3.5" adapter tray, face plate painted black(re-used from the late Tyan Tomcat3 system). Mustek 4.0 mega-pixel USB/SD digital video camera,
Omisys MP-334 USB 512MB Mp3 player, USB 512MB flash mini drive(Translucent clear green), USB 128MB flash mini drive(Translucent clear),
USB SD/MMC Flash Memory Card Reader/Writer(Translucent blue w/256MB SD card), Blue "Spaceship" shape 4-way port USB Hub,
Black AeroCool 5.25” “CoolPanel” custom modded-out as many of its original features failed to work Its SD flash memory card reader works,
as does the RCA video input, 2 Blue LED illuminated variable fan speed control dials, panel’s 3 audio input jacks were retro-fitted with
3 ultra-brite Blue LEDs. Four Blue LED illuminated case feet were the last items to be fitted.
Network Adapter: Intel onboard Pro 10/100 RJ-45 LAN adapter.
Video Capture Card: Canopus DVStorm2 Pro+, composite video, S-video, Firewire I/O with 5.25" "Storm Bay" front I/O face plate.
Cooling Fans: Four 80mm blue LED fans, one Blue Ice blue LED chipset fan, Vantec "Spectrum" PCI dual fan card, and a Arctic Cooling
Blue LED CPU Heatsink/Fan for the hot running Intel 3.4Ghz Pentium4 "Prescott" socket478 processor.
USB/Firewire Ports: Eight USB 2.0 ports, one Firewire port.
Keyboard: Black Logisys KB606BK PS-2/USB blue illuminated white keyed 101-key keyboard.
*Mouse/Pointing Device: CompUSA "Crystal Mouse" serial trackball (Bought in late-1997, and custom modded painting the original clear plastic
housing shells to match the rest of two system's color schemes. Original 2 red trackball illuminating LEDs replaced with 2 blue LEDs.
(Re-used from the late Tyan Tomcat3 system, it still works great and is a one-of-a-kind trackball).
*Misc.: Cray Supercomputer Logo mousepad
Operating System(s): Microsoft Windows XP Professional;service pack 2, SLAX LINUX-Live ver.5.1.7b

Mods:
Numerous illuminating LEDs, 3.5" "Louvered" vent,custom mini heatsinks made(8)for mobo's MOSFETS, RAM Mod LED strips, mods done to trackball.
