FROM being a chemical engineer to being one of the loved reality TV stars in Africa, the past weeks have been life changing for Marvin Achi.
The 29-year-old from Nigeria was part of Big Brother Titans until he was evicted two weeks ago.
Marvin teamed up with the South African TV presenter and model Yaya Mwanda.
The duo bid goodbye to the reality game show.

Marvin spoke to SunBuzz about leaving the house and what’s next for him.
“I kind of expected to leave the house honestly. But there were other people I thought also would leave. I had three options, Yaya and I included, and it happened,” he said.
The reality TV star said he hoped viewers would like him for who he is, and they did.
“When I entered the house, I didn’t have a strategy. I spoke to my partner, Yaya about it and she also didn’t have a strategy on how to win the viewers. So, we decided that we would just be ourselves and knew that people would love us for that,” said Marvin.

“However, it was different when it came to the competitions. We strategised whenever we were going to a game. We would plan as we went, and the other housemates knew we were powerful when it came to the games. We were a big threat,” he said.
Marvin said being in the Big Brother House was an experience he will never forget.
“I’ll miss being in a closed house, not knowing what was happening in the world. I enjoyed that. I’m an adventurous person. I love trying new things and this was an experience I never expected. We also built connections with different people in the house, I’ll miss those people,” he said.
“Yaya and I also built a beautiful partnership. I believe that the relationship we built in that house will last outside the house. I really appreciate it. Now that we are out of the house, we are considering taking things to the next level and build an even stronger connection.”
