67% 6 Reviews Tomatometer 84% Fewer than 50 Ratings Audience Score Earl has taken one too many wrong turns on the highway of life as a bully and a low-rent crook, but he wins a lottery and has an epiphany: He will turn his good fortune into a life-changing event, as he sets out to right all the wrongs from his past. Despite his seemingly limited intelligence, he is oddly effective -- and has a voice and style all his own. Read More Read Less Watch on Fandango at Home Premiered Dec 11 Buy Now

Jamie marinic This is my favourite show but this seasons terrible. Its so boring and loses its story, the plot for each episode was bad and the prison setting was terrible. this season season 3 has 67% and the last season season 2 had 91% skip this season. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Strong season, even without the list plot being the main focus Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member At this stage, Earl J. Hickey has perhaps surpassed mighty Hercules in deeds. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A crazy mess, Season 3 of My Name is Earl is all over the place and off the rails. After being send to prison Earl continues to work on making up for his bad deeds and finds a friend in the warden, who offers him time off his sentence in exchange for help solving some of the prison's problems, and after he gets out Earl has a crisis of faith. The writers quickly realize that putting Earl in prison was a mistake, and try to get out of it with flashback episodes, furloughs from prison, and eventually an early release at midseason. And they have a tough time coming up with B and C-stories (which are often contrived and awkwardly forced in) to keep Joy, Darnell, and Catalina around. Still, some interesting guest stars make appearances, including Howie Mandel, Jane Lynch, Michael Pena, and Paris Hilton. Also, Craig T. Nelson, Michael Rapaport, and Alyssa Milano join the cast as recurring characters and bring a fresh new energy to the show. My Name is Earl goes to some strange and unusual places in its third season (not all of them good), but manages to deliver plenty of laughs along the way. Alan Sepinwall Newark Star-Ledger By this point, "Earl" is what it is: a sometimes amusing, sometimes dull, shaggy dog comedy. Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Jon Caramanica Los Angeles Times Surprisingly, given its sometimes tunnel-like perspective, "Earl" also succeeds with topical humor. Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Amanda Ann Klein PopMatters Earl is proof that a popular primetime sitcom can be both bitingly funny and socially relevant. Rated: 8/10 Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Jane Boursaw CinemaBlend I love this show, but this [season premiere] episode wasn't as funny as I hoped it would be - especially after waiting since last May for it. Sure, it's nice to have Earl and the gang back, but let's see something really inspired, Earl Writers. Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Jonah Krakow IGN Movies A line graph of his life in season three would look like a downhill ski run, while a graph of episode quality over the course of the season would look like a rollercoaster. Rated: 7/10 Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Carl England Den of Geek Season three is an excellent return to greatness, albeit in a slightly altered form from before, but still, a fantastic addition to a series with as much warmth as a burning building.
