How "cool" are these little guys?

Balloon Lumpfish (Eumicrotremus pacificus) attach themselves to balloons at the Epson Shinagawa Aqua Stadium on July 9, 2008 in Tokyo, Japan. The deep-sea fish have ventral sucker disks which help them to cling to rocks in the water.

Cold Water Marine Aquatics says this about them:

Eumicrotremus spp have been bred by public aquariums succesfully since the mid 90's. The ones pictured here have a reported max size of 7 inches. Temps would be ideal in the 55-60 range. They will eat most small crustaceans, so frozen mysid shrimp would be ideal

Totally cool. They look like angler fish crossed with puffer fish. That sucker is one of the weirdest fish adaptions I've seen...how the heck did it get on the fish's belly like that?
