The mature foliage of Endlicher's Pine (Pinus rudis), an evergreen tree up to 24m tall, native to the mountains of central and northern Mexico. The lush needles are usually around 10-15cm long but may reach 30cm, forming brush-like sprays of foliage. Often confused in cultivation with Pinus montezumae. Although subtropical in origin, this species can withstand very low temperatures. Order: Pinales, Family: Pinaceae
