Status: The Puna Ibis is common in the high Andes at elevations ranging from 3200 to 4500 m. They favor the muddy edges of bodies of water and wet grasslands. The Puna Ibis also occur in selected coastal wetlands where it can be seasonally common. It also occurs in Bo and Ch.
