Buchenwald’s Liberation, as Seen by Louis Nemeth

In April 1945, the 165th Army Signal Photo Company was ordered to Weimar, Germany, where a delegation from Congress and the press had been summoned by Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower to witness the horrors of the Buchenwald concentration camp, newly liberated, with their own eyes. Louis Nemeth, a Signal Corps photographer, documented the camp.
