Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight have been close friends since their days on ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ 
T.R. Knight said “I do” over the weekend when he tied the knot with his boyfriend of three years, according to Us Weekly.
The former “Grey’s Anatomy” star and his boyfriend Patrick reportedly exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in front of family and friends. Among the guests were Knight’s close friend and former “Grey’s” co-star Katherine Heigl, who apparently flew in for the event.
“It (was) very small and quiet,” a source told Us.
Knight, 40, is currently in New York playing the role of Mercutio in the Classic Stage Company’s off-Broadway production of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.” The actor was noticeably absent from the Friday and Saturday shows to presumably celebrate the happy occasion.
