Ginkgo biloba 'Samurai' KLMM is a male form selected by Klemm’s Song Sparrow Farm and Nursery Avalon, Wisconsin in the United States of America. There is little information available from the Nursery that selected and introduced the plant, but they say ‘it was selected for its larger leaves and regular pyramidal habit’.

 

Description – Ginkgo biloba 'Samurai' KLMM® has leaves slightly larger and more divided than is typical for the species. The rate of growth is 60 cm per annum. It produces an strong leader and will develop into a large tree. In 10 years, it will be about 4 m to 5 m tall and 2 m in spread. It should mature into a large tree 20 m in height with a spread of up to 10 m. It produces good autumn colour.
