Long Island Medium, Theresa Caputo, and husband Larry Caputo are moving forward with their divorce after nine months of separation. The couple lived apart for three months, which was extended indefinitely.

Larry spoke with TMZ about the separation and confirmed the divorce. "I'm doing fine," he said. "I know she's doing well. I'm happy. We've moved on with our lives."

Larry has met someone else and is living in California while Theresa remains on Long Island.

The couple has been married for 29 years.

The Caputos are known for their TLC reality show Long Island Medium, which follows Theresa the family. Theresa reportedly psychic powers and meets clients for readings, connecting them with lost loved ones. The show premiered in 2011.

Theresa did not immediately respond to Newsweek's request for comment.

On the April 8 episode of Long Island Medium, the estranged couple spoke on camera about their troubled marriage. Theresa explained she was at a breaking point.

While Larry has been a staple on the reality show, he doesn't know his Long Island Medium fate now that their split is official.

Larry has been vocal about the breakup on his Twitter account, talking to fans who expressed they missed his presence on the show. In a June 22 tweet he said, "I will say that I was asked to leave and we had a furnished apartment in California, which we have been leasing for several years. I would never just walk out on my family!! I did what I was asked to do."

I don’t like to comment on personal matters. I will say that I was asked to leave and we had a furnished apartment in California which we have been leasing for several years . I would never just walk out on my family!! I did what I was asked to do .

In an interview with Good Housekeeping, Theresa spoke confidently about her separation. "We're in a good place," she said. "We've taken things day by day and, at the end of the day, we're okay."

Since its premiere in 2011, the show has turned out to be a success, producing 117 episodes in 12 seasons. Theresa has released three books about her relationship with the "other side" and on how to grieve and move on from loss.

Theresa's psychic abilities have been debated by skeptics since the show's airing. She was awarded the James Randi Educational Foundation Pigasus Award in 2012, a mockery award the foundation gives out to those with harmful, fake skills.
