Kelly Brook has opened up on her new outlook on life as she celebrates turning 40.

The former model says she doesn't care if she never has kids or gets married, and she's taken the pressure off herself.

Kelly, who now presents a show on Heart radio, has been in a relationship with Jeremy Parisi for the last four years.

Before that, she was with X Factor : Celebrity star Thom Evans for two years, and they suffered two miscarriages together.

Kelly also dated Gladiator David Mackintosh, Billy Zane, Jason Statham and Danny Cipriani before she met Jeremy.

Kelly turned 40 last November, and she said she is ready for the next decade and wants to put less pressure on herself.

Speaking to Closer , she said when she reached 30 she pressured herself to have children and get married because her biological clock was ticking.

"I've now got to 40, and I think I should have done what I wanted to do," she added.

She added that as well as not being bothered about having children or being married, she also does mind not working every day.

"I just want to enjoy the next phase of my life and be happy!" she said.

Kelly also joked about the kind of men she dated when she was in her 30s, and she made a swipe at her ex Thom Evans, who is now dating his X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger .

Reflecting on what went wrong with her previous relationships, Kelly said she used to date men who were not kind to her.

But Jeremy, she said, is incredibly loyal and never looks at other women - plus he loves her whatever size she is.

Kelly recently lost two stone after she went up to a size 16 in 2016.

Famous for her curves, Kelly is now a healthy size 12 and has stopped editing her photos to make herself look slimmer, as she was before.

"I'm eating a balanced diet, running and doing Pilates a few times a week," she said.

In terms of her future, Kelly revealed she still has opportunities to work in TV and film - after she ended up with a reputation for being sacked.

She starred in Britain's Got Talent for just three days before the producers decided to remove her from the panel.

But Kelly insists: "I've got to a place where people are invested in me and I'm in my comfort zone".
