An English Neo-Gothic style castle belonging to one of the most prominent Czech aristocratic families--the Rozmberks. What castle wouldn’t be complete without a romantic atmosphere, and maybe even a ghost?

  • There were originally two castles on the property--the lower castle and the upper castle. Only the upper castle has been maintained and reconstructed first into a summer residence, and now into an open museum to admire all of the beautiful artifacts left behind.
  • The castle is a great date spot: perfect to walk around the grounds and check out the valuable collections of paintings, weapons, furniture, porcelain and glass. Spend the day waltzing around the castle and daydream that you’re the one living here!
  • White Lady Perchta: In the grand Rosenberg Hall lies a portrait of Perchta, the woman who used to live in the manor and apparently reappears from time to time..but don’t let that scare you away! Read more about it here.
