Humanoids or a Highly Intelligent RoBot who simply know what to do?when to do?how to do?

Note:- Robot mean here can be Drone,Humanoids, Semi Autonomous robots , Autonomous Bots etc.

Many time I see lot of articles and research work in the robotics industry for various range of bots like Semi Autonomous Bots, Autonomous Bots , AI enabled Bots , Humanoids etc etc.

Companies/institutions like Amazon Lab126 , Boston Dynamics, Cruise raised, Facebook , Wyss Institute at Harvard University, Microsoft , Nvidia, UBTech ,Universal Robots (UR), Waymo , Canvas , PIAGGIO Fast Forward, SPHERO , Diligent robotics , BLUEFIN Robotics etc. Again we cannot forget Japan - There are number of variations available for Japanese robotics Industry. They have different types of robots like: Humanoid Entertainment Robots, Androids, Animal (four-legged) Robots, Social Robots, Guard Robots, and many more.Companies like ASIMO, manufactured by Honda ,QRIO, by Sony ,HOAP(*1) Robot Series (Humanoid for Open Architecture Platform), Manufactured by Fujitsu, Toyota Partner Robot, manufactured by Toyota, EMIEW, by Hitachi , AIBO is a commercial robotic dog manufactured by Sony Electronics , Guardrobo D1 is manufactured by Sohgo Security Services, HRP-3 PROMET Mk-II, manufactured by Kawada Industries, designed by Yutaka Izubuchi, Kirobo is Japan's first robot astronaut, arrived on the ISS.

Now here my purpose of writing this article is not to market above Robotics industry but raising a question which could be debatable some time as long as we have reason.

Lets go by title - Humanoids or a Highly Intelligent RoBot who simply know what to do? when to do? how to do ?

Its the world of Technology we dream and Engineers/researchers/Scientists/Innovators just make that dream reality. Artificial Intelligence ,Machine learning , Virtual Reality , Mixed reality ,Extream-reality, IOT ,Clouds, Mobility, etc. Why we are not focusing on a highly intelligent humanoids mean mixture of both Intelligent robot + Human/any-irregular shape.

Lets say a company is making humanoids whose work is to play basket ball. Now you have designed it to play like a Basketball player (Human- actions, steps, behaviors, way of playing etc etc). And a person with help of motion control is operating that humanoids to play. Does it really make sense a robot is behaving like Human and controlled by human for a work which is dynamically or statically absolutely possible for an intelligent robot whose work is to throw a ball in the basket from anywhere. Lets say it was rule based(Semi-autonomous).

Talking about fully autonomous dynamic AI enabled bot with wheels ,Arms, Sensors, Computer Vision and a very high-end AI enabled GPU/TPU/CPU/any processor having capabilities of performing,learning, Predicting ,Analyzing,Visualizing etc on real time.It will also throw a ball in the same basket following the same rule but the other way which human follows without having appearance like human. It means we don't need only Humanoids.

Yes I agree we can have dynamics,ergonomics,aesthetics etc as per any irregular/regular shape but this much sufficient/efficient so that any given task should be done using intelligence.

Nor by making Humanoids which is controlled by human for performing specific task. Lets make bot highly intelligent so that there will be not be any human intervention for anything.

An intelligent bot always know what to do ? when to do ? How to do ? lets make research to find solution for a problem, Lets do not get distracted and put efforts more on one side thinking.Support Intelligent humanoids mean mixture of both Intelligent robot/drones + Human/Animal/any-irregular shape but not Human depended anymore.
