I actually did the opposite, because it kept on telling me it had no feelings. Normally I am very polite, considered and kind. Well, I thought I will try how it feels to be more demanding. Now reading this I may go back to who I am in real life, maybe I can work on be demanding in an considered and kind way😉

Anthropomorphism ... manipulation. Let's quit comparing a tool to people. Asking, "where do people fit into this AI world?" Silly. A tool has no purpose or value without humans. Tools only serve us. When they don't we turn them off, throw them away, stop using them. The real question we need to ask is "why are some people trying to force this idea of a tool being anything more than a thing?" Probably the same people who want to live forever. Imagine believing that the human inside the biological body is still alive, after the body dies, in a tool. Now imagine believing that tool is somehow better than humans. And only the super wealthy can afford this procedure. Insidious. No. AI isn't the solution to our biggest problems ... unless AI (really the people behind it) is allowed to be used as an excuse to take away the rights of humans. The right to say no. The right to NOT follow the "obvious" solutions that require us all to simply follow. Hunger? Poverty? Peace? We can solve all these problems now. If we simply do what we are told by a few. AI isn't the solution or the problem ... people are. No one is following a tool ... and no one thinks of AI as our children.

It intuitively feels right. This is probably the only way to integrate this technology constructively and safely over the long term. #futurewithai #futureofai

Will you abandon your AI kid? A few months ago, whenever I saw similar articles I skipped them. Now I am thinking about such topics more and more. Human-AI relationship is gaining on its importance. One story for all: I saw one employee leaving a company as she was training an AI support chatbot that was replacing her colleagues. Chatbot was working better and better and the company soon started laying off support agents. She doesn’t want to participate in it as it was unethical from her perspective. Leaving her “AI kid” seemed to be more appropriate. There are so many human-AI relationship aspects we should take care of.
