POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY OFFICIALS TELL KETV NEWSWATCH SEVEN THE MAN WAS FOUND UNCONSCIOUS FRIDAY. HE WAS STABLE WHEN THEY TOOK HIM TO THE HOSPITAL, BUT MOVED INTO THE ICU YESTERDAY AND TODAY, HIS FAMILY CONFIRMED THAT HE HAS DIED. COUNTY OFFICIALS SAY THREE OTHER PEOPLE WERE ALSO HURT. A man who was hurt during Friday's tornado in Minden, Iowa, has died of his injuries, family members confirmed to KETV NewsWatch 7.The man, identified by family as 63-year-old Nick Ring, was unconscious when first responders found him, a deputy with the Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Office told KETV. Ring was transported to the hospital and was in stable condition, authorities said. He was then moved to the ICU on Saturday, the deputy said.County officials confirmed that three people were also injured from the tornado. They were treated and released.The tornado tore through Minden at 6 p.m. on Friday, and it broke gas lines, causing gas leaks and tore down power lines.The Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Office estimated between 40 to 50 homes were destroyed, about half of the town.Iowa Gov.
