Jeddeloh Canadian Hemlock
Tsuga canadensis ‘Jeddeloh’
Jeddeloh Canadian Hemlock is a slow-growing plant. In 10 years the height of Hemlock reaches up to about 0.4 m and up to 0.6 m in spread. The crown is rounded. The needles are light green, 10-15 mm long. The annual growth of branches is 5-10 cm. Cones are light brown, regular oval shape. The length of a cone is about 2 cm.
Shade-tolerant. It prefers nutrient-rich, well-drained soils. Frost-hardy.
