Pinus banksiana 'Schneverdingen' A very slowly growing variety of the Jack Pine with a flat-globose shape. The foliage coloration is bright green, 2 needles per fascicle. After 10 years reaches approximately 20cm tall and 30cm diameter. Over many years grows up to 0.5m tall and 1.2m in diameter. Prefers a full sun and partial shade. Grows well even in low fertilized soil, tolerates drought. Recommended for small backyards, Japan gardens, rockeries and to cultivate in containers.
