Appearance
It measures between 40.6 and 43 cm in length. The beak is between 102 and 107 mm long and is ivory yellow on the top and black on the top line of the culmen and below. It has a black head, neck and upper chest; naked blue skin around the eyes; the tops with bright green feathers; lower part of the chest and belly yellow with two horizontal bands reddish to blackish and red rump to rufa.
Food
Foraging in same species flocks, they are primarily frugivorous, with opportunistic preying on insects, small birds and bird eggs, and lizards. They play a role in seed dispersal of fruits with a dispersion range of hundreds of meters. They are likely to regurgitate seeds as opposed to digesting/excreting them to avoid ballast.References:
