  1. Captured in "unnamed road", Costa Rica. Unnamed roads really are the most beautiful, aren't they :)

On topic, what a blast again. Gorgeous species, another intro, and so well executed.

    1. Well the road got his name back ;) Had to look in my journal where it exactly was.
Google did not recognize the city name, didn't see he finally got an unamed road :)
      Thanks again for your compliment!

      1. I actually also meant that "unnamed road" is a compliment as well. It typically means it is remote, and there really is no road. It's a good thing, I wasn't suggesting it is missing data :) Either way, thanks for the update. Posted 9 years ago
        1. I know, but this is also an obsession for me.
No photo's with incomplete data are allowed :D

  2. Great shot Wendy. I find hummingbirds to be a beautiful but frustrating subject - really fast and active, and they tend to shrink in a picture. So well done getting such a closeup. Out of curiosity, what sort of lens did you use to take this picture? Posted 9 years ago
    1. Well, I can tell you that this shot was taken with my compact camera the Nikon Coolpix 8800.
I would love to have the hummingbirds flying, but at that time I was still not as convenient with shutter speeds and apertures. Hopefully I will get a new change in the future with my today's camera :)
