The Inca Dove is a small dove with a light brown body with dark brown edges to the feathers giving it a scaly appearance. The tail is fairly long with white outer feathers. The wings have some darker brown markings. Males an females look similar. Inca doves can be found in open scrub, farmland, urban areas.
