Here's mine. I think that it is a very pretty plant, and yes, the needles are lighter and brighter than some. Mine's been in the ground for about three years without a problem. Enjoy yours!

Coniferbros, that's a nice hillside planting. How do you keep it watered? It looks like a sprinkler head in front and wondering if it isn't getting too much water. Just a thought. I have not had good luck with any Lacebark Pine, and I've tried several. They don't seem able to handle our winters.

I've got P. d. 'Low Glow' that is starting to take off and I was thinking about doing the same. Sara, it would be interesting to see a series of pictures as the "project" unfolds.

I will try...I am a bad photographer and even worse at cataloguing the ones that I shoot! If I can pull any together I will. P. densiflora really responds well to pruning (it is a classic bonsai tree).

Same here. For a few years now I've been telling myself to take the same pictures of our garden on roughly the same date each year. I've done it once.

Sara, it looks like your plant has light colored needles as well. I won't worry about mine.

Maackia, I have irrigation in all of my beds. However, I do not water them on a regular basis, only as needed. Never more than about once per week in hot/dry weather.

That sheep looking animal would be my dog. He seems to enjoy photobombing when i'm taking garden photos.
