I don't know how many A.K I killed but I still want to find a way to grow them. Just love their look :-).

John, Abies koreana will tolerate a fair bit of shade, especially the small selections. If you want to grow them in your part of the country, I would suggest you try them in a spot with dappled sun or indirect light throughout the day.
