Looks right to me for P.m. v glauca. Pointed buds of P.m. are very obvious. See the link.

Thanks, yes looks exactly like the pic to me.
That said- I live where var. glauca grow wild and they are very much green, not blue.

The Rocky Mountain type, P. menziesii var. glauca will vary in color and naturally the bluest sell the best so those are what are picked to propagate.
