The snow is pristine.

Meaning to ask about your bedding plant operation. Do you start your own plant or buy plugs? I grew Heuchera last season for local retail nurseries. Propagated by division and also picked up some plugs from a local grower. The most fun though was getting tissue culture plantlets. All went well until the economy started it's downward slide mid summer. I should sell at farmers' markets and the like, but don't like dealing with the public...just want to grow plants!

Please let me know when you have grafts to sell...you could easily turn into my #1 supplier. Shipping to California may be a problem; perhaps bare root would be a solution?

Great pictures. I love the snow wow, jealous. Are the cages to prevent wind/snow damage or is that for deer? We don't have many deer here, just the occasional spotting, so no issues and no experience.
