That 'Parsonii' must be written as 'Parsonsii' and is a very old cultivar.
In the past it was written as 'Gregoryana Parsonsii'.

Is that 'Dumpy' making a reversion on top?

Recently I found a witches'broom on a Picea abies 'Veitchii', formerly written as 'Gregoryana Veitchii'

Edwin you couldn't be so lucky! Yes, I notice also that now Tompa was found by Barabits.

Nice nice nice !!! I have a P. abies 'Nana Compacta', wich according to Welch would be synonymous with 'Microsperma'.
Any thoughts on that ? Not really a miniature,judging by Dax's picture...unless that plant is very old,of course. T.

Edwin, not sure if it's a reversion on 'Dumpy' could just be a bit of coarser growth, similar to when this plant is grafted, looks completely different then.
Also put me down for a scion or two off your witches' broom on 'Veitchii' please :o)))
