Pinus flexilis Photo Gallery 2011

Very nice, soft blue colored pines. A tough plant but like most pines, doesn't like wet feet.

Pinus flexilis 'Dakota'. Very nice color/structure.

'Kinzie Rose'. Very slow.

'Good Pine'

'Laj'. Narrow and pretty fast.

'Elton'. Tiny. Maybe a half inch a year.

Add some of yours.

Unfortunately, I can't contribute anything since the passing of my only Pinus flexilis, 'Kinzie Rose' RIP. :0(
But you all show awesome pictures! You make me want to try again with flexilis.

Sam, I had a few problems, and then moved plants into straight 'sand' plantings and they are doing OK now. Might want great drainage for these beauties.

A last few I think I can find to add to the gallery.

    'W.B.' No info, I'm afraid.

    'Mt. Evans'

Pinus reflexa 'Vanderwolf's Pyramid'. Including this here because it is often incorrectly listed as Pinus flexilis.

Just a bump with a few new photos.

Pinus flexilis 'Cesarini Blue'. Naming and species unsure. Resin has stated it is Pinus reflexa.

    'Tiny Temple'

'Extra Blue'. Also likened to be Pinus reflexa. Those who know, know Resin knows. Now you know.
