It's my understanding that Picea pungens 'Blue Mist' assuming this is the same plant as Picea pungens 'Prostrate Blue Mist' was found by Don Howse whilst working at Iseli Nursery and introduced by them.

    Stephen,
I have a "maybe list" to Jerry Morris too behind the doors, but till now I have nothing in the hand, that the Lisa group comes from Jerry. I have to wait to Jerry Morris for later.

Thanks for your flexilis list, I'd like to compare to mine.
Are they all in your garden?

Abies concolor var. lowiana 'Igel' was first named as 'Horstmann's Igel' which isn't a witches'broom but a seedling selection.
There's always a big discusion if this one is an Abies concolor var. lowiana cultivar, most think it's an Abies grandis cultivar (A. grandis 'Compacta') because of it's smell which is like a lemon if you crush the needles...
It's not found by my German friend Günther Eschrich but by Günther Horstmann, also from Germany.
