P. gluaca 'Terry's Variegated' has yellow variegation, this one has white/cream.

it is also known as DENT.. of which i will post pix one of these days ... especially if there are some green and white shoots.. as in.. half of the bud is each color ...

Although it looks a lot like it, its not DENT. Its a variegated sport on a species tree in the middle of the city.

Another one to graft! Let the name game begin.

Good find. It would be worth grafting to the collector just to see how the shape of tree turns to be. Go ahead and send scions next year if you want.

as an extreme collector of hosta.. and conifers.. i just hate how much money i have wasted .. over the years.. on what ended up being near look alikes ... though of course the WWW that has slackened quite a bit.. with pix capabilities ...
