James Pickens Jr. pays tribute to ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ co-stars on International Women’s Day

Looks like the relationship of the “Grey’s Anatomy” cast really does go beyond the series.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, James Pickens Jr., who plays chief Richard Webber, shared a greeting to fellow cast member Chandra Wilson.

“My ‘Bailey’ Happy International Women’s Day!” he wrote.

Chandra plays the character of Dr. Miranda Bailey in the series.

As the series’ chief, he also paid tribute to the female doctors at Seattle Grace Hospital, including Ellen Pompeo’s Dr. Meredith Grey, through an Instagram story.
