The Kennedy family has a new member! On April 21, Jack Schlossberg, the son of Caroline Kennedy and grandson of the late John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, spilled the beans about his baby nephew on the Today show. Peak youngest-sibling behavior.
The 29-year-old Harvard Law School grad appeared on the program to announce the recipients of his grandfather's Profile in Courage Award, which celebrates public servants who demonstrate political courage…but that's not the only announcement he made. Schlossberg also revealed that his older sister, Tatiana Schlossberg, recently welcomed a son with her husband, George Moran.
Jack Schlossberg is the youngest of three siblings, including 31-year-old Tatiana and 33-year-old Rose. When asked about his future plans, Schlossberg, who is currently living at home in his childhood bedroom, pulled a maneuver out of every baby-brother handbook: He deflected. “I have no plans, but I have a new nephew,” he told Savannah Guthrie. “His name is Edwin, but I like to call him Jack.” Of course, he does!

Based on Schlossberg’s interview, baby Edwin Garrett Moran is at least a few months old. “I handed in my last paper on the day that he was born and no one even noticed,” he joked. He graduated with a dual degree from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School in February 2022. He's been spending time with his nephew ever since. “I can't get away from them. I love them,” he says.
Tatiana is an environmental journalist who met her husband at Yale University. They married in 2017 at Jackie Kennedy's estate in Martha's Vineyard. Baby Edwin is named after Tatiana's father, Edwin Schlossberg, and George's father, Garrett Moran. The nickname Jack is shared by little Edwin's uncle as well as JFK. (Schlossberg’s full name is actually John Bouvier Kennedy Schlossberg.)
Baby Edwin is Caroline Kennedy's first grandchild. When asked by Guthrie whether she's enjoying the new title, Schlossberg said that she is “so into it.” Congrats!
