Wild pony in Dartmoor National Park, England

The soft light in the English Moors seems a perfect celebration of the start of spring. These wild ponies roam freely in the moors of this region and while not tame, will allow a fairly close approach. The rolling hills house remnants of Bronze Age settlements, and the underlying rocks with their high iron content cause magnetic aberrations challenging navigators.
