Actress Lynda Carter wants Megan Fox to stop trashing Wonder Woman!

The 59-year-old former television superhero stopped by the show “Fox and Friends” to promote her new album, but took a few minutes to chat about the new series in development from “Ally McBeal” producer David E. Kelly.

But when host Brian Kilmeade brought up the possibility of Megan Fox, 23, stepping into Carter’s boots, the actress objected.

“Megan Fox actually kind of trashed Wonder Woman,” Carter said. “She said she thought it was dumb, like ‘what’s the big whoop making people tell the truth.’ I like her, I just thought she shouldn’t trash Wonder Woman.”

Last year, when rumors began circulating that Fox was under consideration for the role, she told the London Times that Wonder Woman was a “lame superhero.” A poster of Megan Fox as the action hero even turned up on the Internet, but it turned out to be a hoax.

“She flies around in her invisible jet and her weaponry is a lasso that makes you tell the truth,” Fox said. “I just don’t get it. Somebody has a big challenge on their hands whoever takes that role but I don’t want to do it.”

But Carter says she is excited at the prospect of Kelly developing the series.

“He’s great at the underlying comedy and character development,” she said of Kelly. “I spoke to him several weeks ago and he is perfect for it because he will really give the characters life. It’s not just going to be a cartoon or a comic book thing, which is really what I think we tried to do.”

Lil Wayne turned up courtside in red baseball cap and long dreadlocks to watch the unbeaten New Orleans Hornets edge the Miami Heat 96-93 a day after his release from a New York City jail.

Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter Jr., was freed Thursday after serving eight months in a gun case. Asked how it felt to be back, Wayne told the The Times-Picayune: “Like I never left.” Before his incarceration, the rapper recorded the recently released “I Am Not a Human Being,” a top debut on Billboard album charts.

The newspaper said the rapper flew earlier Friday to Yuma County, Ariz., to check in for a three-year stint of unsupervised probation for a drug conviction. Authorities said that case will be transferred to Florida, where the New Orleans native now lives.

Lindsay Lohan‘s mom finally agreed that her daughter is a drug addict.

“Yes,” Dina Lohan said when asked on the “Today” show whether she could acknowledge what’s been apparent to most people watching the actress’ public meltdown. “I think it was up to her to come to her own evolution,” Lohan’s mom told Matt Lauer. “Now I’m happy and relieved myself.”

Lohan has eight more weeks to go in court-ordered rehab at the Betty Ford center, an experience her mom called “life-changing.”

“Happy and relaxed,” Dina Lohan said, when asked to describe her daughter’s state of mind. “She’s just a different person.”

Lohan’s mom said she “absolutely” supports her 24-year-old daughter’s attempts to rebuild her relationship with her estranged dad, Michael.

The two were reportedly reunited at the clinic over the weekend and then went on an approved shopping jaunt to a mall in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

Asked if the actress has finally conquered her demons, Dina Lohan said “we take it one day at a time.”

“I don’t have a crystal ball,” she said.

Last month, a Beverly Hills judge ordered the drug-addled actress back to rehab until Jan. 3 but spared her a stint in jail.

“You are an addict,” Judge Elden Fox told Lohan. “I hope you understand that.”

Anderson Cooper apparently was stunned when he opened up New York magazine’s home design issue featuring his mother Gloria Vanderbilt‘s apartment.

There was a photo of her at home posing next to a life-size cardboard cutout of her son.

He later told Daily Intel, “I was unaware that she had a life-size cutout of me! I’m not sure how she got it, I’m not entirely thrilled that she has it, but what are you going to do?”
