TAXIDERMY: TEMMINCK'S TRAGOPAN (TRAGOPAN TEMMINCKII), LATE 20TH CENTURY full mount adult male bird. On rectangular ebonised base. Named 'the longevity pheasant’, this colorful bird is considered to be good fortune in the Chinese culture. It inhabits Southern parts of Chinese Tibet, Vietnam and Myanmar.
