What a beautiful little fellow! I did not know about this momot species, thank you for sharing it, Stanley. (y) (y)

His bigger "momot" cousin, the "amazonian motmot", is one of my favorite birds. The bird that got me hooked in this hobby about 3 years ago when I first saw one on the trail I do my morning walks. I went crazy about that bird.

The ones near here in the trail are very elusive, they like the shadows. Coincidentally I saw one a couple days ago and manage to get this phone pic. I hope you don't mind me sharing it here. Motmots have a special place in my heart.

I hope I can get a good photo of them some day.

EDIT: well I guess my pic didn't work. No worries. Thanks again for sharing that motmot Stanley!

Hi Roynato! That is quite interesting, Motmots have always been one of my wife's and I favorite groups of birds. We love to watch them and listen to them. An impressive phone pic. Cheers! Stanley
