US sitcom My Wife And Kids comes to BBC

Comedian,
actor and producer Damon Wayans plays Michael Kyle, a loving
husband and modern-day man who rules his household with a unique
and distinct parenting style on his quest for a 'traditional' family.
Together
with his wife Jay (Tisha Campbell-Martin), son Junior (George O
Gore II) and daughters Claire (Jennifer Nicole Freeman) and Kady
(Parker McKenna Posey), Michael teaches his family some of the lessons
of life delivered in his own unique brand of wisdom, discipline
and humour.
The
series has been nominated for many awards in the USA and received
the 2002 People's Choice Award for Favourite New Television Comedy
Series.
It
was the ABC Television Network's number one comedy series last season.

Damon
Wayans and Dan Reo are co-creators and executive producers of My
Wife And Kids.
David
Himelfarb and Dean Lorey are executive producers and Eric Gold is
a co-executive producer of the half-hour comedy series.
My
Wife And Kids series one will be shown on BBC TWO in Winter 2004.
