I've always worn Smith ski goggles, and even their cheaper models have lasted for about a decade. Deterioration of the foam has usually been what forces me to dump ski goggles. This review cannot possibly comment on these goggle's longevity, if I have an opinion about it after a couple of winters, I can come back & update this review at that time (and that's assuming this seller is still offering the product).

Important to note: at the 40 dollar price point these Eunia goggles are no less expensive than entry level Smiths and Oakleys, so they cannot get a free pass if they last for only one season, like a dollar-store pair of goggles might. And rest assured that Eunia is the brand name that adorns this product, not "Kockafej."

These came with grey lenses, and the product page does not allow you to choose an amber lens. Amber, at least for me, is the optimal lens color to best be able to see contrasts in snow, but I was willing to sacrifice some of the visual acuity normally provided by amber lenses, with the hope that this could be offset by these goggles allowing me to wear my prescription eyewear. One star down for there not being a lens color option to choose from.

Since my nearsightedness has never been too drastic, I'd never bothered buying special goggles to accommodate eyeglass frames, so this was my first experience wearing this type of goggle. My initial reaction is that either (1) the design is a flawed one in general (to know that I'd need to try on Smith and Oakley's versions), or (2) this particular product's design is faulty, because wearing these goggles around the house for just 30 minutes resulted in a significant amount of discomfort. I have yet to figure out where the contact point is, but somehow my eyeglasses are being pressed-on just enough to produce a downward pressure onto the bridge of my nose. My ears also got a bit uncomfortable with both my beanie and the goggle's strap pressing into the eyeglasses' arms (just a beanie and glasses are no problem: I do that all winter). I think my ears could adapt to this over time, but I do not think that the same can be said of my nose.

With comfort in mind, I'm gonna ski in these WITHOUT my eyeglasses on, just like I've always done, even though this will negate the primary reason I'd ordered these goggles in the first place. If I happen to develop problems being able to read trail signs, then I'll just have to pony-up for some contact lenses to use when I'm skiing. But in the meanwhile I'm going to try-out these goggles in sunny conditions (from experience I'm already certainI that on cloudy/overcast days amber lenses provide the best contrast & ability to visualize textures in the snow ahead of me); IF the grey-lensed goggles can either match OR outperform my amber goggles on sunny days, then these Eunias might end-up getting some actual use. Otherwise they'll just be in my ski bag as emergency backup goggles, or they will be gifted-away.
