Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Prompt and speedy delivery, arrived in safe condition. Overall, the rootstock was severely rootbound and required extensive, yet careful root pruning prior to transplanting. Without proper root pruning, it would have eventually led to girdling roots, and ultimately the demise of the tree later on in life. The seedling is still much too small for planting outside in the ground, so I transplanted it into a larger container for the time being and will keep it in a sunny location on the patio. Overall, I'm hopeful it will grow into a healthy, beautiful tree. For the price paid, it should not have been as severely rootbound as it was, hence the 3 star rating.
We had ordered through another grower, and the plant was never shipped. However, the plant that we received was healthy, and still thriving after 6 weeks. We'll see how the graft does throughout a Michigan winter.
