“That ’70s Show” wrapped up its eight-season run on May 18, 2006, and many of the stars have kept themselves busy over the last 10 years. Find out what the cast has been up to since the Fox comedy left the air.
“That ’70s Show” was Topher Grace’s first acting gig. After captivating audiences as the smart-aleck and always-sarcastic Eric Forman and exiting the show after Season 7, he starred as a villain in “Spider Man 3” and alongside “70s Show” co-star Ashton Kutcher in the 2010 rom-com “Valentine’s Day.” More recently, he appeared in “Interstellar” and “Truth.” He will star and produce in “Opening Night” premiering at the LA Film Festival June 3 and later this year he’ll star opposite Brad Pitt in the satirical Netflix comedy “War Machine.”
Ashton Kutcher was also new to acting when he scored the role of pretty boy Michael Kelso. During the show’s run, he starred in “The Butterfly Effect,” “Just Married” and “Dude, Where’s My Car?” Kutcher has sustained a steady acting career since the show wrapped, appearing in rom-coms like “What Happens in Vegas,” “Valentine’s Day,” and “No Strings Attached,” as well as landing a lead role on “Two and a Half Men” following Charlie Sheen’s exit from the sitcom. In 2015, he married “’70s Show” co-star and on-screen love interest Mila Kunis.
Mila Kunis charmed audiences as the spoiled, yet lovable Jackie Burkhart, Michael Kelso’s on-again, off-again girlfriend, for the show’s entire eight-season run. Before the sitcom, she appeared in small TV roles on hit shows such as “Days of Our Lives,” “Baywatch” and “7th Heaven.” Her acting career blossomed after the wrap of “That ’70s Show,” particularly within the comedy arena. She has since starred in “Black Swan,” “Ted,” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and “Family Guy,” providing the voice of Meg Griffin for over 10 seasons.
Danny Masterson appeared in episodes of “Roseanne,” “Party of Five” and “NYPD Blue” before landing the sarcastic tough guy role of Hyde. In the years since “’That ’70s Show” went off the air, he’s scored a steady stream of TV guest star spots on shows like “White Collar” and “Raising Hope.” He currently stars alongside “’70s Show” alum Ashton Kutcher in the Netflix comedy “The Ranch.”
Wilmer Valderrama got his start in various plays before landing his first big gig in the CBS miniseries “Four Corners.” After his role on “That ’70s Show” as the adorkable Fez, Valderrama has added various roles to his resume, including guest stints on “Raising Hope” and “Royal Pains,” a lead role on “From Dusk Till Dawn,” and a multi-episode arc on “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Laura Prepon was a globetrotting model before nabbing her breakout role as Donna Pinciotti, the Formans’ witty, intelligent next door neighbor. Post “’70s,” she starred in the NBC comedy “Are You There, Chelsea?” and struck gold in her role as snarky prison inmate Alex Vause in Netflix’s hit dramedy “Orange is the New Black,” which was renewed for three additional seasons earlier this year.
Prior to Kurtwood Smith’s time as hardass father Red Foreman, the actor was best known for his part as the villain in “Robocop.” After “That ’70s Show” ended, Smith has been seen in series including “24,” “Medium,” “The Regular Show” and “Agent Carter.”
Before appearing as Kitty Forman in “That ’70s Show,” Debra Jo Rupp appeared in guest roles on shows such as “Family Matters,” “Seinfeld,” “ER” and “7th Heaven.” Amidst her eight-season reign as Kitty, she also landed a recurring role as Alice on “Friends.” The actress has since stuck to smaller roles, appearing in episodes of “Law & Order: SVU” and “As the World Turns.”
An actor for over four decades, Don Stark broke onto the scene in a recurring role on “General Hospital” in the late ’80s and appeared in “The Golden Girls,” “Baywatch” and “Beverly Hills, 90210” before starring as Bob on “That ’70s Show.” His acting career continued to flourish after the show’s 2006 wrap. Stark has guest starred in episodes of “NCIS,” “American Horror Story,” “The Good Wife” and “Castle.” This year, Stark stars in the Woody Allen Cannes opener “Cafe Society.”
Known for his various “Cheech and Chong” movies, Tommy Chong entered “70s Show” during Season 2 as the recurring character of go-with-the-flow, aging hippie Leo. He held the role until the sitcom’s finale, later guest starring on episodes of “George Lopez” and “Raising Hope” and lending his voice to animated films like “Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil” and “Zootopia.”
Josh Meyers, who joined the cast of “That ’70s Show” as Randy Pearson in the final season, got his start on “MADtv” in the early 2000s. Since his brief stint on the sitcom, Meyers’ acting career has flourished. He appeared in “The Mindy Project” and “Behind the Candelabra” before landing a starring role in the Steven Soderbergh Amazon comedy “Red Oaks.”
Before her “That ’70s Show” role as Midge, Donna’s kindhearted mother, Tanya Roberts appeared as Julie Rogers in the “Charlie’s Angels” TV series and starred in the 1985 James Bond film “A View to a Kill.” Roberts exited the series in Season 3 to care for her ill husband, but returned for guest appearances in Seasons 6 and 7. She’s since taken a break from acting.
