A&E has passed on crime drama “The Infamous,” starring Bokeem Woodbine and Jason O’Mara, Variety has confirmed. “The Infamous,” which is set in 1990’s in L.A. leading up to the riots, chronicles a gangster who wants to break out of prison and a cop who’s determined to bring him down. This pilot may be shopped around to other networks, according to Deadline.

CASTING

“Shades of Blue” is shaking up for Season 2. Lolita Davidovich, who played Matt Wozniak’s (Ray Liotta) wife Linda in the first season, has been re-cast. She will be replaced by Margaret Colin, who’s known for playing Blair Waldorf’s mother on “Gossip Girl.” According to TV Line, who first reported the re-cast, Davidovich exited the show due to scheduling conflicts. Colin is not the only new addition to “Shades” for the sophomore season — “Breaking Bad” alum Anna Gunn also recently joined the Jennifer Lopez cop drama, which returns to NBC midseason.

Showtime announced that Alysia Reiner (“Orange is the New Black”), Jeremy Strong (“The Big Short”) and Ashley Zukerman (“Manhattan”) will be joining Season 4 cast of Masters of Sex,” which premieres Sept. 11 at 10 p.m.
