Thuja occidentalis Polar Gold® is a hardy, golden cultivar of American arborvitae with a compact growth habit and eye-catching golden highlights among evergreen scaly foliage. Growing to 12-15' high with a spread of only four to six feet, Polar Gold® provides a living fence effect with a smaller footprint than other Thuja cultivars.
Although it prefers full sun, Thuja occidentalis Polar Gold® is also tolerant of part shade conditions, with higher tolerance of shade-heavy part-shade conditions than other Thuja cultivars.
