Vimanas - flying ships of the Ancients.

Mentioned in Mahabarata and other ancient hindu scriptures, flying ships of the ancients were called vimanas. There is even a book which deals specifically with the subject of vimanas called 'vimanika shastra'. Although written in cryptic language and what appeares to be sort of alchemical treatises and recipies, it's interesting on it's own. Here are some names and drawings of vimanas. One thing is for sure, we don't know our history as many of the subjects from it were and still are, suppresed from population by rulers. Enjoy :)
